Facts and figures for CRS:

• Area served - residents of Avon and Avon Lake
• 2009 saw an increase of 65% for requests for food over 2008
• 56% more households requested assistance in 2009 as compared to 2008
• CRS packed groceries 3,777 time in 2009
• CRS is an emergency pantry and will pack a 3 day supply of food as well as personal care and cleaning supplies.  Food stamps cannot be used for personal care and cleaning items and so the need for those donations is VERY great.
